Janis Kristiansen is a lifelong Washingtonian who spent nearly two decades in the halls of the Washington State Legislature. Her husband, Dan, was elected to the state House in 2003 and served for 16 years, spending the last six as House Minority Leader for the Republican caucus. Although the Kristiansen’s returned to private life in 2018, Janis says her front row seat to the Legislature inspired her to start the Tangled Angle podcast and share her unique perspective with others.
